What the enhancer does

Brightness, contrast, saturation

Fix dull or flat photos with the three core adjustments, previewed live as you drag.

Real sharpening

A convolution sharpen pass brings out edges and detail instead of just faking contrast.

Optional 2x upscale

A high-quality smoothing upscale that doubles the dimensions. It is labelled honestly: it smooths, it does not invent AI detail.

Before / after compare

Drag the compare slider to check exactly what your adjustments changed before downloading.

Image Enhancer FAQ

Is the Image Enhancer free to use?

Yes. Upload an image, adjust it, compare before and after, and download the result for free.

What does the sharpness slider do?

It runs a real sharpening filter (a convolution kernel) over the pixels, which strengthens edges. A little goes a long way - too much can look harsh and noisy.

Is the 2x upscale AI upscaling?

No, and the tool says so on the page. It is a high-quality browser smoothing upscale: the output is twice the dimensions and smoother, but it does not recover detail that was never in the original.

What quality is the download?

JPEG downloads are exported at 0.92 quality - the same high default the compressor uses - and PNG downloads are lossless.

Are my images uploaded to a server?

No. Enhancing happens entirely in your browser and files are discarded when you leave the page.
